Echo's Journal

Lately, I’ve been diving back into Fallout lore. It’s been a while, but something about that dusty, irradiated world just pulls me in every time. I’ve even started making a few YouTube videos while I’m at it—not my best work, if I’m being honest, but they’re starting to get a little traction. That might be the nudge I need to put some more effort into them.

Thinking I might boot up the old games soon and maybe do some live videos too. There’s just so much in Fallout’s world to unpack—the factions, the history, the tech, the weirdness. It’s one of those universes that really rewards you the deeper you dig. I’m sure I’ll be writing more about it at some point. This rabbit hole goes deep.

I spent way too long today scrolling through mobile games, trying to find a decent fantasy title. Not a cash-grabby idle thing or a soulless hero collector—just something with charm, story, and a bit of heart. Nothing came close.

And then it hit me: maybe I should just make one.

Not a big-budget game—just a small 2D adventure with hand-crafted vibes. A world that feels like a worn old map, with mystery, magic, and choices that matter. Something fun, story-rich, and portable.

Maybe the game I’ve been looking for… is the one I need to create.
